- Previous experience as a sommelier, wine steward, or hospitality role
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Adherence to alcohol handling laws and regulations

Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a sommelier, wine steward, or similar hospitality role
- Strong interpersonal and sales skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
- Certification in the Court of Master Sommeliers is a plus
- Interest in continuing education
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Educate and guide guests through an extensive wine list
- Recommend wine selections that complement menu items
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain deep knowledge of wine regions, varietals, and vineyards
- Uphold compliance with alcohol laws and regulations
- Manage wine inventory and assist with purchasing decisions
- Promote and sell wines, spirits, beers, and cocktails
