- Previous experience as a sommelier, wine steward, or hospitality role
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Adherence to alcohol handling laws and regulations
- Interest in continuing education

- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a sommelier, wine steward, or in a hospitality role
- Strong interpersonal and sales skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proven knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
- Interest in continuing education and professional development
- Certification in the Court of Master Sommeliers is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Educate and empower guests to navigate the wine list
- Lead guests through detailed descriptions of wine regions, varietals, and vineyards
- Provide exceptional hospitality to make guests feel welcome and at home
- Ensure adherence to alcohol handling laws and regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to recommend wine and beverage pairings
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of wines, spirits, beers, and cocktails
- Manage and organize wine inventory and tastings
