Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years of relevant experience in wine or beverage service
- Ability to work a full-time schedule with varying shifts
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must comply with company policies including safety and hygiene practices
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Two to three years of experience as a sommelier or in a related wine service role
- Strong knowledge of wine varieties, regions, and pairings
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and health regulations
- Certification from a recognized sommelier or wine education program preferred
Job Duties
- Recommend wine selections to guests based on their preferences
- Manage inventory of wines and beverages
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to create cohesive dining experiences
- Conduct tasteful wine service including pouring and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wine storage and service areas
- Educate staff on wine varieties and pairings
- Assist in planning wine-related events or tastings
