Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED recommended
  • Some college experience or degree recommended
  • Must be TIPS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire
  • Must have a current food handlers card
  • Previous bartending experience in a professional setting is preferred

  • Passionate and has a knowledge of classic cocktails wines spirits and beers
  • Ability to work under variable temperature conditions

Job Duties

  • Curate and manage a diverse and dynamic wine list ensuring it complements the restaurant's culinary offerings
  • Provide personalized wine recommendations and expert guidance to guests assisting with wine selection and food pairing
  • Execute flawless wine service including proper storage decanting and serving techniques
  • Conduct wine tastings and educational sessions for staff and guests enhancing their wine knowledge and appreciation
  • Maintain impeccable inventory control overseeing wine procurement storage and rotation
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies to drive wine sales and elevate the overall guest experience
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to create wine pairing menus and enhance the overall dining experience
