Job Requirements
- At least a Level 1 Sommelier Certificate
- Minimum five years of gourmet food and beverage service experience
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to obtain Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card
- Ability to obtain Nevada Food Handler Safety Training Card
- Strong interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications
- Has at least a Level 1 Sommelier Certificate
- Has at least five years of gourmet food and beverage service experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Ability to obtain a valid Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card and Nevada Food Handler Safety Training Card
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Is hospitality driven with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Able to multitask and take initiative in a VIP and guest service focused environment

Job Duties
- Know and execute the service guidelines outlined in the manual with extreme attention to detail
- Promote the company’s high level of service standards by exhibiting friendliness and a hospitable attitude
- Display full knowledge of the restaurant, McClain Camarota Hospitality Group and its history, and current, upcoming, past menus
- Possess knowledge of menu items, ingredients (history and other culinary uses), garnishes, cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and textures
- Describe menu items and wines as requested
- Understand and execute the expectations in the manual perfectly
- Possess extensive knowledge about the restaurant’s wine selection, wine history, processes, and trends
- Be up-to-date on wine trends, new vintages, and new vineyards
- Use education to evolve the wine list when changes are necessary
- Assist in wine trainings during pre-shift and other staff meetings
- Pick up incoming wine orders and sort them into correct bin numbers
- Check incoming communications from guests and vendors
- Make changes to pricing/order book and reprints for the menu
- Check and set up stations for upcoming service
- Ensure each station is stocked with wine decanters, bottle coasters, polished wine glasses, and serviettes
- Ensure staff has accurate 86 list, vintage, and winery knowledge
- Greet each table, review wine list, assist in ordering by making budget and taste conscious suggestions
- Present wine orders to each table
- Assist servers in refilling wine glasses and taking new wine orders on existing tables
- Maintain the BTG wine selection and cart and wine display
- Perform quality control, address storage issues, inform management of any flawed bottles
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, health-code compliant restaurant
- Work as a team member, communicating and assisting team members
- Assist in drink delivery and food running when necessary
- Add charges for wine bottles or corkage fees to guest tickets
- Greet guests promptly, making a positive first impression
- Use guest’s preferred name at least twice throughout interaction
- Know and acknowledge VIPs by name and check in with management
- Anticipate guests’ needs and always “find the yes” for questions
- Ensure additional bottles are ordered for special requests, private parties, and events
- Perform all tableside “moves”
- Hand sell to guests while maintaining inclusivity of off-list items
- Serve as floor supervisor as needed
- Perform other duties as requested by management
