Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Forbes five-star or Michelin Star environment
- Court of Master Sommeliers Certified Sommelier or WSET Level 2 certification
- strong passion and enthusiasm for wine
- excellent organizational skills
- ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- sophisticated and approachable demeanor
Job Duties
- Welcome every guest with a smile and assist the service team throughout their visit
- guide guests through the wine list to help select the perfect wine for their meal or occasion
- complete full wine service by the glass and by the bottle
- detect faults in wine and recommend perfect food and wine pairings
- maintain and prepare wine storage for service
- assist the General Manager by leading training sessions for the service team
- work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment
