Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2-4 years experience as a sommelier in an upscale, high volume restaurant
- WSET or similar certifications preferred
- Knowledge of wine service techniques
- Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Clean and organized work habits
- Commitment to learning and improvement
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications

- WSET certifications or other accredited wine institution certifications preferred
- Extensive knowledge of wine and wine service techniques

Job Duties
- Assist guests with wine, sake and champagne selection considering their taste and budget
- Anticipate guest needs
- Provide information to guests regarding venues, menus and pricing
- Explain how wines, sake or champagne complement food and dessert menus
- Ensure correct presentation and service of wines, sake and champagne following company standards
- Inform guests of alternative beverage selections if preferred choices are unavailable
- Provide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service to all guests
- Practice highest safety standards in all work areas
- Follow Department of Health and Liquor Control Board regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
