Job Requirements
- Formal wine education or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years front-of-house wine experience
- Availability for 3 to 5 shifts per week including evenings weekends and Sundays
- Ability to obtain CA Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handler certifications within 30 days
- Proficiency with technology including Google Suite and spreadsheets
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- References from previous employers
Job Qualifications
- Formal wine education such as CMS WSET CIA or NVWA
- At least 2 years of front-of-house wine experience in restaurant bar tasting room or retail
- Comfortable with Google Suite spreadsheets and email
- Ability to learn new platforms and programs quickly
- Strong communication and hospitality skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- References demonstrating strong work ethic and passion for hospitality
Job Duties
- Build community inside and out
- Collaborate with local pop-ups and connect with neighbors
- Anticipate guest needs and personalize interactions
- Maintain inventory and refresh displays proactively
- Drive sales through genuine product recommendations
- Share responsibility for cleaning, food prep, restocking, and order packing
- Manage guest emails and contribute to marketing and social media content
