Job Requirements

  • Certified Sommelier
  • Minimum two years experience in a similar role, preferably in fine dining establishments
  • Extensive knowledge of wine varieties, vineyards, and wine production process
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage wine inventories and supplier relationships
  • Passion for wine with continuous desire to expand knowledge
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Duties

  • Curate and manage a dynamic wine list that aligns with our restaurant's culinary philosophy
  • Provide expert wine recommendations to guests to enhance their dining experience
  • Conduct staff training on wine knowledge and pairing to ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storage of wines
  • Organize wine-tasting events and wine-pairing dinners for guests
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and forge relationships with vendors and distributors
