Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or g.e.d. equivalent
  • minimum two years of related work experience
  • at least one year of supervisory experience
  • ability to stand walk or sit for extended periods
  • ability to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds
  • knowledge of state and local alcohol service laws
  • ability to perform fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • ability to work well under pressure

Job Duties

  • communicate with guests employees and departments to ensure teamwork and guest needs are met
  • answer guest questions or concerns about the origin vintage and style of wines
  • create update and maintain wine lists
  • pair and suggest wines to complement menu items
  • attend wine tastings and develop vendor relationships
  • design and implement wine promotions and incentive programs
  • monitor and replenish inventory of wine cellar equipment and glassware
