Job Requirements

  • 2+ years experience as a Sommelier or wine service role
  • availability for lunch shifts
  • strong knowledge in wine, spirits, beer, and N/A beverages
  • English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required
  • ability to stand or walk for long periods of time

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Sommelier or in a wine service role
  • strong knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
  • excellent communication skills, with fluency in English
  • additional languages preferred but not required
  • ability to educate and mentor team members
  • ability to manage inventory and understand financial aspects of a wine program

Job Duties

  • Consistently support a culture of enlightened hospitality
  • partner with Beverage Director to create and maintain an enticing wine program that enhances the guest experience
  • provide guests with a memorable experience by offering guidance and suggestions of wine and beverage selections
  • educate service team on wine, beer, spirits, cocktail and non-alcoholic beverage items in a way that adds value and fuels the team’s desires to learn and grow
  • deliver a financially responsible wine program that results in increased sales and maintains an inventory that is in-line with the restaurant’s revenue and business levels
  • demonstrate flexibility and a wide range of skills and knowledge in all service positions and an eagerness to continue to learn and grow
