Job Requirements

  • 2+ years experience as a Sommelier or wine service role
  • Strong knowledge in wine, spirits, beer, and n/a beverages
  • English fluency
  • Additional languages preferred but not required
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time

  • Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to educate and communicate effectively with team members
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other sommeliers, bartenders, and service staff
  • Demonstrated commitment to hospitality excellence and guest service
  • Proficiency in English
  • Additional language skills preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality
  • Partner with the Beverage Director to create and maintain an enticing wine program
  • Provide guests with guidance and suggestions for wine and beverage selections
  • Educate the service team on wine, beer, spirits, cocktail and non-alcoholic beverage items
  • Deliver a financially responsible wine program that increases sales and maintains inventory
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a wide range of skills in all service positions
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support team objectives
