Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in beverage service or sommelier role
  • Knowledge of wine and beverage industry standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills
  • US work authorization required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a sommelier or similar beverage service role
  • Knowledge of wine varieties and wine pairing principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to train and lead a team
  • Basic skills in inventory and stock management
  • Hospitality or culinary education is an advantage
  • Customer service oriented

Job Duties

  • Maintaining accurate beverage program including wine list updates and POS system
  • Training staff on beverage program across all Food & Beverage outlets
  • Train evaluate lead motivate coach and discipline employees in the Resort's Main Restaurant
  • Organize direct and control the work of employees in the Resort's Main Restaurant
  • Ensure maximum guest satisfaction through exceptional service and attention
  • Run the shift as manager on duty when necessary including opening and closing procedures
  • Manage wine cellar including receipt storage inventory and ordering of beverage products
  • Develop and maintain controls for beverage costs to maximize profitability
