Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in beverage service or sommelier role
- Knowledge of wine and beverage industry standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational skills
- US work authorization required
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a sommelier or similar beverage service role
- Knowledge of wine varieties and wine pairing principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to train and lead a team
- Basic skills in inventory and stock management
- Hospitality or culinary education is an advantage
- Customer service oriented
Job Duties
- Maintaining accurate beverage program including wine list updates and POS system
- Training staff on beverage program across all Food & Beverage outlets
- Train evaluate lead motivate coach and discipline employees in the Resort's Main Restaurant
- Organize direct and control the work of employees in the Resort's Main Restaurant
- Ensure maximum guest satisfaction through exceptional service and attention
- Run the shift as manager on duty when necessary including opening and closing procedures
- Manage wine cellar including receipt storage inventory and ordering of beverage products
- Develop and maintain controls for beverage costs to maximize profitability
