Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • US work authorization
  • Prior experience in hospitality or beverage industry preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including days evenings weekends and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform duties required in a restaurant environment
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a sommelier or wine service role
  • Strong knowledge of wine varieties regions and pairings
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Familiarity with point of sale POS systems and inventory management
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations

Job Duties

  • Maintaining accurate beverage program wine list updates POS system etc
  • Training the staff on beverage program across all Food & Beverage outlets
  • Train evaluate lead motivate coach and discipline employees in the Resort's Main Restaurant to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met
  • Organize direct and control the work of employees in the Resort's Main Restaurant
  • Ensure maximum guest satisfaction through providing exceptional service and attention to guests and colleagues alike
  • Running the shift as a manager on duty when necessary completing all necessary opening and closing procedures
  • Manage wine cellar including proper receipt storage inventory and ordering of beverage products
  • Develop and maintain controls for beverage costs in order to maximize profitability including food and labor costs
