Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
US work authorization
Prior experience in hospitality or beverage industry preferred
Ability to work flexible hours including days evenings weekends and holidays
Strong interpersonal skills
Physical ability to perform duties required in a restaurant environment
Commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork

Job Qualifications

Prior experience in a sommelier or wine service role
Strong knowledge of wine varieties regions and pairings
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Familiarity with point of sale POS systems and inventory management
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations

Job Duties

Maintaining accurate beverage program wine list updates POS system etc
Training the staff on beverage program across all Food & Beverage outlets
Train evaluate lead motivate coach and discipline employees in the Resort's Main Restaurant to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met
Organize direct and control the work of employees in the Resort's Main Restaurant
Ensure maximum guest satisfaction through providing exceptional service and attention to guests and colleagues alike
Running the shift as a manager on duty when necessary completing all necessary opening and closing procedures
Manage wine cellar including proper receipt storage inventory and ordering of beverage products
Develop and maintain controls for beverage costs in order to maximize profitability including food and labor costs
