Job Requirements

  • 2-5 years of sommelier experience in fine dining setting
  • ability to advise on wine selection and supervise wine service
  • experience in selecting and consolidating wine lists within budget
  • capability to conduct staff training
  • skill in managing wine inventories
  • willingness to work days, evenings, overnights, or weekends
  • US work authorization or eligibility for visa sponsorship

Job Qualifications

  • 2-5 years sommelier experience in fine dining
  • knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • positive attitude and self-starter mentality
  • experience with wine inventory management
  • familiarity with beverage cost control

Job Duties

  • advise guests on wine selection
  • supervise day-to-day wine service
  • select and consolidate wine list adhering to budget and beverage cost
  • conduct weekly staff training on product knowledge
  • collaborate with restaurant general manager and chef for product development
  • manage weekly and monthly wine inventories
  • create, modify, and print wine lists
