Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous sommelier experience in fine dining
  • Ability to advise guests on wine and beverage selections
  • Proficiency in managing wine inventories
  • US work authorization or managerial status at Four Seasons
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts
  • Strong organizational and training skills

Job Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of sommelier experience in a fine dining setting
  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of wine inventory management and beverage cost control
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated approach
  • Experience working with luxury hospitality standards

Job Duties

  • Advise guests on wine selection
  • Supervise day-to-day wine service
  • Select and consolidate the wine list in line with budget and guest preferences
  • Conduct weekly staff training on wine product knowledge
  • Collaborate with General Manager and Chef for product development
  • Manage weekly and monthly wine inventories across all food and beverage outlets
  • Create, modify, and print the wine list
