Job Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury hospitality or upscale dining
  • formal certification in wine and spirits
  • strong communication skills in English
  • computer literacy
  • ability to lead and train a team
  • attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • College degree, preferably in Hotel/Restaurant Management or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury hotels or upscale restaurants
  • formal Wine & Spirits Training Certificate or Diploma
  • strong knowledge of wine, beverage service, and guest service standards
  • proficiency in English
  • computer literacy and familiarity with food & beverage systems

Job Duties

  • Curate and select wines that align with the property and outlet concepts
  • lead, motivate, and train the team in wine knowledge and service standards
  • serve wine with proper pouring, decanting, and presentation techniques
  • ensure all wines and beverages are served at the correct temperatures
  • maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
  • anticipate guest needs, respond to inquiries, and provide personalized service
  • manage wine inventory, storage, and rotation
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in wine service areas
  • collaborate with employees and managers to meet operational needs
  • support guest satisfaction by handling special requests, complaints, and public relations with professionalism
