Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in wine service or hospitality
- strong palate and sensory evaluation skills
- customer-oriented approach
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- basic computer skills
Job Qualifications
- proven experience as a sommelier or in a similar wine-focused role
- strong knowledge of wine varieties, regions, and pairings
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to educate others about wine
- certification from a recognized sommelier program preferred
Job Duties
- curate and maintain the wine list
- provide expert recommendations to guests
- educate staff on wine selections and pairings
