Job Requirements

  • Relevant experience in fine dining sommelier role
  • Positive attitude and self-motivation
  • Ability to train staff weekly
  • Knowledge of wine selection and service
  • US work authorization or managerial position at Four Seasons for visa sponsorship
  • Availability to work varied schedules including weekends and overnights

Job Qualifications

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sommelier to join the team
  • The ideal candidate must have 2-5 years of previous Sommelier experience in a fine dining setting, must be a self-starter, possess a positive attitude and be comfortable working alongside a team of Food & Beverage professionals
  • They must possess the ability to advise the guest on wine selection and to supervise the day-to-day wine service
  • US work authorization is required unless the candidate is currently in a managerial position at a Four Seasons location

Job Duties

  • They will be responsible for selecting and consolidating the wine list by adhering to the budget and beverage cost, the requests of the guests and the concept of the outlet
  • They will conduct staff training on product knowledge with a weekly frequency and work closely with Lido Restaurant General Manager and Lido Restaurant Chef for product development
  • In addition, they will be responsible for weekly and monthly wine inventories of all F&B outlets and for creating, modifying and printing the wine list
  • They must possess the ability to advise the guest on wine selection and to supervise the day-to-day wine service
