Job Duties
- Support the management team in the development and implementation of the strategic plan and vision for the wine program
- Provide leadership and direction in the execution and measurement of guest service standards within wine and beverage operations to ensure continued growth and profitability
- Maintain the integrity of the wine program through frequent quality checks of opened wines by the glass
- Maintain complete knowledge of all brands, particular characteristics and description of every wine/champagne by the glass, bottle selections, designated glassware and garnishes for drinks, all bar menu items, preparation method/time, portion sizes, presentation, and prices
- Assist in training staff members on beverage knowledge and systems relating to the wine
- Attend wine and beverage tastings and seminars when available as part of continuing education to aid in program and personal development
