Job Requirements

  • 2 years plus of experience in sommelier, wine-focused service, or senior FOH role within fine dining or luxury hospitality environments
  • Strong foundational knowledge of wine regions, varietals, producers, and service standards
  • Ability to communicate wine concepts clearly and confidently to both guests and staff
  • Polished presence and strong tableside communication skills
  • High attention to detail and pride in execution
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • A genuine passion for wine, hospitality, and guest experience

Job Duties

  • Lead wine service throughout the dining room, providing confident guidance on selections, pairings, and styles aligned with the menu
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of the wine list, including producers, regions, vintages, styles, and proper service techniques
  • Collaborate closely with Captains to support tableside wine recommendations and elevated guest experiences
  • Present, open, and serve wine with proper technique, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Support menu development by aligning wine pairings with seasonal dishes and culinary direction
  • Educate and support FOH teams through tastings, training, and ongoing wine knowledge development
  • Maintain accuracy and organization of wine lists, pricing, and guest-facing materials
