Job Requirements
- At least two years previous experience working in a fine dining restaurant
- full working knowledge of wine in regards to taste varietals regions climates and their effect on the grape harvesting and the overall process of winemaking and maintain current knowledge in the same fields
- ability to effectively interact with individuals or small groups of people
- advanced knowledge of wine and liquor including wine service techniques
- present a professional appearance
- at least 21 years of age
- sommelier certification preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- verify right to work in the United States
Job Qualifications

- ability to effectively interact with individuals or small groups of people
- knowledge of cuisine menu
- advanced knowledge of wine and liquor including wine service techniques
- present a professional appearance
- at least 21 years of age
- sommelier certification preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- bi-lingual preferred
- obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- verify right to work in the United States
Job Duties
- Advise guests on wine choices based on individual preferences while enhancing the experience for the guest and profitability for the restaurant
- assist with the creation of wine lists appropriate to the venue ensuring that these lists are accurately printed and changed when necessary
- record and manage wine inventory
- create and distribute training materials for the staff to ensure that they are knowledgeable on all products offered
- conduct tastings of these products on a quarterly or as needed basis
- communicate any 86'd items to both the management team and staff
- maintain an active floor presence proactively approaching guests and or servers to offer assistance
- responsible for suggestive sales proper delivery and description of wine and properly pouring and refilling of wine in the dining room
- provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
- perform other duties as assigned
