Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in wine and food service
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Physical ability to perform duties including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for hospitality and strong work ethic
- Knowledge of wine service and wine list management
Job Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in restaurants or establishments of similar caliber
- Organized and motivating
- Excellent communication skills
- Food Handlers Safety Certificate preferred
- Ability to read, speak, and interpret documents in clear English
- Manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and stretch
- Capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Act as the ultimate ambassador of the restaurant's cuisine and culture to guests
- Work together with the Beverage Manager and Executive Chef to create food and wine pairings
- Work with all front-of-house team to expedite and provide excellent service to guests
- Assist members and guests during dinner service with wine recommendations and selection for perfect pairing
- Decant and serve wine properly
- Provide prompt and attentive table service
- Motivate and mentor staff's wine knowledge and commitment to excellence
