Job Requirements
- Technical, trade, or vocational school diploma
- at least two years of relevant work experience
- no supervisory experience required
- no licenses or certifications required
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift, move, and handle objects under 50 pounds
- ability to read and verify information visually
- ability to work in confined or elevated spaces

Job Duties
- Deliver, open, and serve bottles of wine and champagne
- respond to guest questions about wine origin, vintage, and style
- update and maintain the wine list and MICROS system
- suggest wines to accompany menu items
- attend wine tastings and build relationships with suppliers
- request new wines and products
- create and update wine lists
- design and implement wine promotions and incentive programs
- verify vintage and BIN numbers
- conduct staff wine tastings
- secure liquors, beers, wines, refrigerators, cabinets, and storage areas
- train and educate waitstaff and bar staff in wine service
- adhere to company safety policies and report issues
- maintain professional appearance and uniform standards
- protect company confidential information and property
- support team members and maintain workplace respect
- meet quality assurance standards
- physically handle objects up to 50 pounds
- communicate clearly with guests and colleagues
- perform other reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors
