Job Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of wine
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Proficient in Open Table, Toast and CTUIT
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule, available to work daytime, evening and/or weekend shifts
  • Steakhouse experience with wine certification preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and have a strong work ethic
  • Minimum of two years' experience at a high-end, high-volume restaurant

Job Duties

  • Continually monitor daily sales, ordering, par levels and costs
  • Maintain accurate paperwork for inventory levels
  • Conduct the monthly wine inventory and year end inventory
  • Assist with staff training
  • Print and maintain all the wines lists needed by the business level
  • Coordinate wine up-sell, wine pairing with the service team
  • Be accessible and available to employees
  • Consistently demonstrate excellent people skills when dealing with employees and guests
