Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work cooperatively with large team
  • Prior hospitality industry experience preferred
  • Must have foundational knowledge of wine and spirits
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and via e-mail
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to operate company vehicles or golf carts safely
  • Eligible for hire in the US without sponsorship

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality industry with preference for fine dining
  • Great base knowledge of wine and spirits
  • Effective e-mail and verbal communication etiquette skills
  • Ability to work well within a large team cooperatively and positively
  • Familiarity with boutique and small batch wine producers preferred
  • Leadership skills to support service team
  • Knowledge of beverage inventory management

Job Duties

  • Lead daily wine and spirits tastings for guests to educate on small batch producers and boutique wine makers
  • Provide memorable floor sommelier service helping guests select best wine and spirits for their dining experience
  • Restock wines in Cellars and wine storage areas daily
  • Support front-of-house service team during dinner service ensuring high-quality guest experiences
  • Train service staff on wines, spirits, and cocktails to enhance overall team knowledge
  • Participate in monthly and yearly beverage inventory counts as assigned
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain regular and consistent attendance
