Job Requirements
- Must be able to work cooperatively with large team
- Prior hospitality industry experience preferred
- Must have foundational knowledge of wine and spirits
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and via e-mail
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to operate company vehicles or golf carts safely
- Eligible for hire in the US without sponsorship
Job Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality industry with preference for fine dining
- Great base knowledge of wine and spirits
- Effective e-mail and verbal communication etiquette skills
- Ability to work well within a large team cooperatively and positively
- Familiarity with boutique and small batch wine producers preferred
- Leadership skills to support service team
- Knowledge of beverage inventory management
Job Duties
- Lead daily wine and spirits tastings for guests to educate on small batch producers and boutique wine makers
- Provide memorable floor sommelier service helping guests select best wine and spirits for their dining experience
- Restock wines in Cellars and wine storage areas daily
- Support front-of-house service team during dinner service ensuring high-quality guest experiences
- Train service staff on wines, spirits, and cocktails to enhance overall team knowledge
- Participate in monthly and yearly beverage inventory counts as assigned
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain regular and consistent attendance
