Job Requirements
- Certified accreditation from a recognized organization (Court of Master Sommelier / WSET) preferred
 - Minimum of 2 years of experience in high volume, elevated dining restaurant
 - Must have Food Handler’s Certification
 - Must be 21+ years of age
 - Must be authorized to work in the United States
 - Must be detail oriented and possess effective communication and written skills
 - Ability to multi-task
 - Must be a team player
 - Self-motivated and performance driven
 - Professional and courteous
 - Remain in stationary position for up to 8 hours throughout the work shift
 - Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
 - Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance
 - Effective communication, written and interpersonal skills
 
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintain complete knowledge of wine list and wine and food pairings
 - Clean equipment, tools, and supplies for wine service and ensure equipment is in good working order, including cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance
 - Maintain and update cellar/storage inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock
 - Meet regularly with the wine trade to actively seek quality wines for the restaurant wine program as well as evaluate wines and other beverages for potential purchase
 - Eliminate waste by training and supervising employees on wine knowledge, pour levels, proper storage, etc
 - Verify accuracy of wine delivery ordered and received from the main warehouse and return or exchange deliveries when a warehouse error has occurred
 - Maintain appropriate beverage costs by managing purchases and requisitions
 - Perform other job-related duties as requested
