Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work with a large team cooperatively and positively towards excellent service and support
  • Hospitality experience in fine dining preferred
  • Base knowledge of wine and spirits required
  • Proper email and verbal communication etiquette required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to be on feet for extended periods
  • Must be able to operate company vehicle or golf cart safely

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality industry in fine dining preferred
  • Great base knowledge of wine and spirits
  • Ability to work cooperatively and positively within a large team
  • Proper email and verbal communication etiquette
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members

Job Duties

  • Lead daily wine and spirits tastings for guests to educate them on small batch producers and boutique wineries
  • Provide memorable service as a floor sommelier, assisting guests in selecting suitable wines and spirits
  • Restock wines daily in the cellar and storage areas
  • Support the front of house service team during service to ensure excellent guest experiences
  • Train service staff on wine, spirits, and cocktail knowledge
  • Participate in monthly and yearly beverage inventory counts as assigned
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
