Job Requirements

  • Must have previous experience as a sommelier
  • Must be able to interact with all different types of guest
  • Knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
  • Proficient in food and beverage planning and preparation
  • Proficient in purchasing and sanitation practices
  • Familiarity with security procedures and company policies and procedures
  • Experience in personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must hold a TABC permit from Harris County

  • Knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus
  • Proficient in food and beverage planning and preparation
  • Proficient in purchasing and sanitation practices
  • Familiarity with security procedures and company policies and procedures
  • Experience in personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Hold a TABC permit from Harris County

Job Duties

  • Assisting in organizing and preparing the wines for service
  • Organize inventory as they come in
  • Working the dining room floor and events in all things wine service and beyond including running food, bussing tables, pouring wines, and running cocktails
  • Working closely with staff to help sell wines
  • Occasionally educating service staff about changes to wine list or providing education
  • Be available to assist as things arrive
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food and beverage handling, and general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
  • Maintain professional restaurant image including cleanliness and appearance standards
  • Respond to guest complaints and take appropriate action to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Conduct orientation and training of new employees
  • Develop employees by providing feedback and establishing performance expectations
