Job Requirements
- Must be able to work with a large team cooperatively and positively
- Experience in hospitality industry preferred
- Great base knowledge of wine and spirits necessary
- Proper email and verbal communication etiquette required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to be on feet for extended periods
- Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely
Job Qualifications
- Experience in the hospitality industry in a fine dining restaurant is preferred
- Great base knowledge of wine and spirits
- Ability to work cooperatively and positively within a large team
- Proficient in proper email and verbal communication etiquette
- Strong customer service orientation
- Leadership skills in managing team interactions
Job Duties
- Lead daily wine and spirits tastings for guests to educate on small batch producers and boutique winemakers
- Provide memorable service to guests as a floor sommelier helping them find the best selections
- Daily restock of wines in cellars and wine storage areas
- Support the front of house service team during service to ensure great service
- Help train the service staff on wines, spirits, and cocktails
- Participate in monthly and yearly beverage inventory counts as assigned
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
