Job Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

- Basic communication skills

- Certificate of completion from the Guild of Sommeliers a plus
- Experience with micros or other point-of-sale systems a plus

Job Duties
- Assist in administering the sale of beverages in outlet, lounge, and banquet functions
- Guide guests through the wine list offering detailed descriptions and recommendations
- Engage guests in discussions about wine answering questions and sharing insights
- Educate associates about wine regions, grape varietals, flavor profiles, and food pairings
- Conduct associate training on wine service standards including proper decanting, pouring, and presentation techniques
- Provide ongoing mentorship and support to develop team members' wine knowledge and service skills
- Maintain the wine cellar in optimal condition ensuring proper temperature, humidity, and storage
- Conduct regular inventory audits monitor wine aging and track cellar rotation
- Work with restaurant management to oversee beverage costs and pricing
- Maintain wine and cocktail lists in collaboration with bartenders and beverage managers
- Attend daily pre-shift meetings
- Deliver on guests' expectations and strive to create WOW moments
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
