Job Requirements

Available to work weekends and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous sommelier or wine steward experience preferred
Knowledge of wine and food pairing
Ability to manage inventory and organize events
Strong communication skills
Compliance with health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

Extensive knowledge on old world wine is preferred
Previous experience as a sommelier, wine steward, or in a wine-related luxury hospitality role
An understanding of the winemaking process
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Passion for wine and excellent customer service abilities

Job Duties

Create and update wine lists with the chefs and manager
Make informed recommendations on food and wine pairings
Ensure that the wine cellar is fully stocked and manage inventory
Inform guests about the variety of wines available and recommend wines according to their preferences
Train team members on available wines and wine program
Organize wine tasting events
Comply with health and safety regulations
