This exciting opportunity is for a Sole Chef position onboard a prestigious yacht based in the vibrant Miami area, specifically in San Lorenzo. The yacht operates primarily in the South Florida region and offers a perfect setting for culinary professionals seeking a stable and rewarding local engagement. The owner provides a comfortable crew house accommodation, but living onboard is not mandatory unless the owner is using the vessel. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years longevity on previous yachts
  • Proficiency in Mediterranean cuisine, especially Italian and French
  • Experience with Asian and American dishes
  • Must be located in Florida preferred for face-to-face interviews
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday schedule
  • Must have valid work authorization
  • Physical ability to work in confined kitchen spaces

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a yacht chef
  • Strong expertise in Mediterranean, Italian, and French cuisines
  • Ability to prepare a variety of Asian and American dishes
  • Experience working in a marine or yacht kitchen environment
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing itineraries
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare Mediterranean cuisine with emphasis on Italian and French dishes
  • Incorporate some Asian and American dishes into menus
  • Plan and execute daily menus to meet guests’ preferences
  • Maintain galley cleanliness and safety standards
  • Manage inventory and procurement of ingredients
  • Ensure compliance with maritime food safety regulations
  • Coordinate with crew and owner for smooth meal service
