Job Requirements
- Ability to operate cart loader and conveyor belt machinery
- Ability to maintain production standards set forth by the production manager
- Ability to work well within a group
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Ability to read and write English and perform basic math functions
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to stand at production work stations for extended periods of time
Job Qualifications
- Basic literacy in English
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Experience in a laundry or similar environment preferred
- Good physical stamina
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Team player with good communication skills
Job Duties
- Distinguish and identify linens that are to be sorted
- Comprehend the sorting and distribution process
- Sort soiled linens
- Ensure that each cart is labeled correctly by customer
- Clean personal work area and public areas each day
- Assist Terry, Ironer, or Packout departments as needed to maintain production standards
- Operate cart loader and conveyor belt machinery
