Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 10 to 50 lbs
- Ability to push/pull over 20 lbs
- Frequent walking and standing
- Ability to bend and twist frequently
- Ability to perform simple and power grasping with both hands
- Willingness to work in non-conditioned environment with varying temperatures
- Ability to handle exposure to airborne particles and blood/fluid risks
- Availability to work from 10:00 AM until finished
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- Basic communication skills
- Prior experience in industrial laundry or similar environment preferred
- Understanding of hygiene and safety standards
Job Duties
- Open customer returned soil bags, discard plastic, spread product out to allow for visibility on soil belt
- Pre-sort classifications as required
- Float between multiple positions moving up and down the belt sorting into appropriate bins or slots
- Move empty carts to appropriate area for cleaning and reuse
- Dispose of unusual items found in soil bags appropriately
- Call maintenance for equipment repair if something is not working correctly
- Tag broken carts for maintenance to repair
