Job Requirements
- Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph
- must be able to obtain Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph if not currently held
- 15 plus years related experience
- bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience
- U.S. citizenship
- ability to work onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD
- no travel required
- adherence to security and operational protocols
- excellent analytical and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Fifteen years experience in computer science or software engineering disciplines with programs of similar scope and complexity
- bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or four additional years of software engineering experience in lieu of degree
- expertise in software design, programming, documentation, and tool development
- experience with formal software specifications, data flow diagrams, and CASE tools
- strong analytical skills for vulnerability assessment and solution evaluation
- ability to lead and instruct other personnel on technical tasks
- experience with security solutions deployment and maintenance
- U.S. citizenship required
Job Duties
- Analyze newly identified vulnerabilities and deficiencies within the IC GovCloud security tool suite
- perform gap analysis
- research and evaluate commercial products to eliminate vulnerabilities
- conduct analysis of alternatives and present findings to the Government
- collaborate and coordinate with ancillary organizations for hardware and software procurement and disposal
- prepare configuration and software enhancement plans
- design and implement interfaces for data retrieval from scanning tools
- design and validate access controls within systems and services
- enhance, modify, and test COTS and GOTS hardware for interoperability
- prepare Engineering Change Proposals for system configuration changes
- define and schedule testing, integration, implementation, and deployment activities with external device owners
- deploy security solutions across the IC GovCloud
- install hardware and software for functional environments
- prepare and conduct security tool training for authorized users
- continuously monitor health and status of security tool suites
- maintain, upgrade, and update security tools for operational capacity
- perform database administration to monitor and repair system degradation
