Job Requirements

  • California driver license and clean driving record
  • ability to work full-time
  • commitment to trauma-informed care
  • proficiency in case management
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to coordinate with multiple agencies

Job Qualifications

  • Master’s in Social Work preferred or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree at minimum required
  • experience working with at-risk children and families
  • understanding of the child welfare system
  • knowledge of group processes and ability to apply
  • knowledge of 24-hour crisis intervention

Job Duties

  • Provide support and services to ensure stability of client placement in foster homes
  • monitor foster homes for compliance with Title 22 regulations
  • provide support and services to ensure stability of youth and families in adoptive homes
  • plan and facilitate family events and groups along with monthly respite nights
  • maintain timely progress, quarterly and/or court ordered reports
  • screen and evaluate intake admissions to appropriately match children in emergency placements
