Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Professional experience managing business pages on social media platforms
  • Hands-on experience or knowledge of social media marketing technology including AgoraPulse, Curator.io, Hootsuite, HubSpot, or Marketing Cloud
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • Passion for social media marketing and student engagement
  • Commitment to the student-first philosophy and institutional values

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, liberal arts, business, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing business social media accounts and developing content
  • Knowledge of social media marketing tools such as AgoraPulse, Curator.io, Hootsuite, HubSpot, or Marketing Cloud
  • Strong creative and communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively
  • Experience with both organic and paid social media campaigns
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights
  • Familiarity with higher education marketing or similar sectors is a plus

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Manage and maintain business pages on various social media platforms
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams and external vendors to create cohesive digital content
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize campaign performance and growth
  • Engage with prospective and current students, faculty, and staff through organic and paid social media efforts
  • Protect and promote the Baker College brand through consistent messaging and quality content
  • Innovate new tactics and content strategies to keep the digital presence culturally relevant and appealing
