The role of the Social Bay Concierge at Dave & Buster's is crucial in enhancing guest experiences by facilitating interactive and enjoyable gaming sessions in the Social Bays. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
  • Ability to work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
  • Ability to read and write handwritten notes
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to move about facility and stand for long periods
  • Ability to walk or stand 100% of shift
  • Ability to reach, bend, and stoop frequently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service a plus
  • Basic technical aptitude
  • Ability to provide excellent guest service
  • Understanding of alcohol awareness policies
  • Friendly and energetic personality

Job Duties

  • Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games
  • Keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters
  • Welcome and engage all guests by providing exceptional service
  • Create an environment of high engagement and fun
  • Guide groups of guests through collaborative activities and games
  • Provide tips and tricks on games to guests
  • Support guests with service and basic technical questions
  • Partner with service team to ensure prompt beverage and food service
  • Complete side work to support setup and breakdown of social bays
  • Reset and clean bays to approved standards
  • Adhere to sanitation procedures
  • Follow alcohol awareness procedures
  • Assess guest demeanor and call attention to manager when necessary
  • Assist other team members as needed
  • Maintain favorable working relationships with coworkers
  • Communicate effectively with guests
  • Read and communicate in English
  • Dress in proper dress code
  • Must be at least 18 years old
