Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to work days, nights and/or weekends as required
- Able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
- Able to read and write handwritten notes
- Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Able to move about the facility and stand for long periods
- Able to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
- Able to reach, bend and stoop frequently
- Comply with company sanitation and dress code policies
- Adhere to alcohol awareness procedures
- Ability to assess guest behavior and report as needed
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Skilled in effectively communicating with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- Knowledgeable about various types of games and able to provide tips to guests
- Able to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- Able to read and write in English
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and stoop for extended periods
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with team members
- Prior experience in hospitality, gaming, or entertainment preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- Welcome and engage all guests by providing exceptional service that creates unforgettable experiences
- Create an environment of high engagement and fun for our guests
- Guide groups of guests through collaborative activities and games
- Provide knowledge of game types and tips to enhance guest experiences
- Understand guest needs to determine the best games for the group
- Support guests with basic technical and service questions
- Partner with the service team to ensure prompt beverage and food service
- Complete any required side work to support setup and breakdown of social bays
- Reset and clean bays to approved standards after use
- Adhere to company sanitation procedures
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication and handle intoxicated guests
- Assess guest demeanor and report concerning behavior to a manager
- Assist other team members as needed
- Maintain favorable working relationships with all team members
- Communicate effectively to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- Comply with proper dress code and professionalism standards
- Ensure all actions follow company policies and procedures
