Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in event planning
  • Experience working in private club or hospitality setting preferred
  • Ability to supervise and manage childcare staff
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to create and manage event orders
  • Proficient organizational skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including some nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Private club experience preferred, but not required
  • Childcare experience preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong onsite leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated team player who is able to work on their own as well as within a team
  • Must be hardworking and eager
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • A genuine passion for working with people and helping them
  • Must have a flexible work schedule, requires some nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Work closely with the Membership and Communications Director on the coordination and execution of all events especially Junior member focused events
  • Oversee childcare employees and make schedule for childcare room
  • Communicate effectively and genuinely with team members and other departments both verbally and in writing
  • Create event orders with event details
  • Work with the Communications and Events Manager to conceptualize, plan, set up, and execute social events for Members
  • Participate in weekly Food & Beverage meetings
  • Show initiative and anticipate needs in job performance
  • Additional responsibilities may be given by Supervisor
