Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in event planning
- Experience working in private club or hospitality setting preferred
- Ability to supervise and manage childcare staff
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to create and manage event orders
- Proficient organizational skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including some nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Private club experience preferred, but not required
- Childcare experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong onsite leadership and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated team player who is able to work on their own as well as within a team
- Must be hardworking and eager
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
- A genuine passion for working with people and helping them
- Must have a flexible work schedule, requires some nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Work closely with the Membership and Communications Director on the coordination and execution of all events especially Junior member focused events
- Oversee childcare employees and make schedule for childcare room
- Communicate effectively and genuinely with team members and other departments both verbally and in writing
- Create event orders with event details
- Work with the Communications and Events Manager to conceptualize, plan, set up, and execute social events for Members
- Participate in weekly Food & Beverage meetings
- Show initiative and anticipate needs in job performance
- Additional responsibilities may be given by Supervisor
