Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, and climb stairs
- Sufficient visual acuity to read a computer screen and paperwork
- Capacity to perform continuous repetitive motions
- Ability to work in hot, humid, and noisy environments
- Availability to work holidays, nights, and weekends
- Strong public speaking skills
- Flexibility with shift days, start and end times, and hours worked weekly
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing or Business
- At least three years of experience in hospitality, preferably in a club setting
- Experience in Food & Beverage, Catering & Banquets Operations is desired
- CPR and First Aid Certificate
Job Duties
- Manage all aspects of the club’s activities to ensure quality service
- Lead and emcee high-energy member activities including bingo, trivia, karaoke, beach games, and themed events
- Attend BEO and internal planning meetings for event alignment
- Serve as on-site supervisor during activities and events managing timelines, vendors, decor, AV equipment, guest flow, and member satisfaction
- Maintain the club's AV equipment and event inventory including podiums and lighting
- Partner with the Club’s Decorating Committee to implement decor enhancing club traditions
- Manage event logistics including setup, breakdown, decor placement, and equipment organization
- Ensure accurate room setup and post schedules for meetings, functions, and events
- Assist in coordination and chaperoning of off-site member excursions
- Promote engagement across all member age groups with enthusiastic service
- Collaborate with Director of Sales & Events and operational teams to support smooth event execution
- Provide member assistance regarding event schedules and inquiries
- Communicate upcoming program information through established channels
- Keep accurate history files of events and write follow-up correspondence
- Gather and share member feedback to improve programming
- Support Youth Activities and Nana's Cottage supervision during high volume and special events
- Act as primary venue contact for contracted vendors ensuring adherence to club policies
- Complete other assignments as directed by Director of Sales & Events
