Job Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of airline operations experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong multi-tasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Sun Country business model and route structure
- Basic understanding of aviation weather products
- General knowledge of aviation regulations
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office365
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to obtain MSP SIDA badge
Job Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of airline operations experience in an SOC, Airport Operations, or Flight Operations role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in fast paced environment
- Superior multi-tasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Sun Country business model, values, and route structure
- Basic understanding of aviation weather products and the national airspace system
- General knowledge of common regulations and airline terminology
- Experience using Microsoft Windows and Office365 products
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be able to obtain MSP SIDA badge
Job Duties
- Assist SOC Duty Manager with development and implementation of daily operations plans
- Maintain FLIFO with updated information
- Assign and adjust aircraft routing based on operational needs and route requirements
- Ensure operational performance through strategic reassignment of resources including aircraft and crewmembers
- Disseminate timely and accurate communication for routine and irregular events
- Evaluate and optimize aircraft utilization based on cost profiles
- Collaborate with charter and commercial team to ensure efficient scheduling and utilization of resources
