Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One year of cash handling experience
- One year of customer service experience
- Ability to maintain a food handler's certificate
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and policies
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
- Ability to analyze problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to follow written, oral and diagram instructions
- Must use good judgment when providing information to guests
- Must maintain positive guest relations
- Responsible for consistent and regular attendance
- Responsible for conducting all duties professionally and ethically
- Must apply for, receive and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency
- Must pass a drug screening test
- Must successfully pass auditions or skill testing

Job Duties
- Support and uphold Valley View Casino & Hotel's Standards of Excellence
- Maintain positive guest relations, resolve guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction
- Greet guests courteously using personalized service
- Prepare and dispense food to guests
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of work area in accordance with company standards
- Maintain stock of necessary food supplies and refill condiments and dining ware
- Participate as a team member to ensure efficient operations
- Maintain count and balance of bank at beginning and end of each shift
- Handle cash, credit card and comp purchases at assigned station
- Demonstrate high level of service delivery and prioritize guest needs
- Perform other duties as assigned by Restaurant Manager
- Adhere to performance standards, company policies and procedures
