Job Requirements
- Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
- ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
- capability to lift or push objects over 40 pounds
- ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents
- prior cash handling and customer service experience preferred
- willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous customer service experience preferred
- basic math skills for cash handling
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- knowledge of food safety procedures beneficial
- ability to use electronic data processing equipment
- ability to maintain clean and organized work environment
Job Duties
- Greets customers and takes food order
- provides information about menus
- looks for opportunity to up-sell products
- operates cash register and receives payment in cash or credit card
- accurately counts and provides change
- follows customer service and cash handling policies
- cleans and stocks work area
- assists in locating, reconciling, and verifying transaction accuracy
- operates equipment with electronic data processing
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- assists with kitchen-related functions
- receives inventory and moves food and beverage products
- maintains knowledge of products and services
- ensures proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, storing and rotating
- checks temperature of products
- cleans and sanitizes workstation and equipment
