Job Requirements
- Ability to work under extreme temperatures
- Able to work assigned schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Pass a criminal background check
- Ability to prepare entrées for all airlines
- Ability to understand and complete recipes
- Full-time availability
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience as a cook in a high volume institutional catering environment
- Extensive knowledge of safe food handling practices
- Understanding of HACCP compliance
- Ability to speak, read, and understand English
- Skilled in various cooking techniques and use of kitchen equipment
Job Duties
- Large batch cooking
- Follow HACCP regulations when preparing food
- Prepare entrées according to airline customer specifications
- Plan cycle menus and changes
- Review production sheets to confirm specifications
- Prepare complex recipes per specifications
- Use cutlery, small wares, and kitchen equipment with above average skill
