Job Requirements
- Ability to work under extreme temperatures
- work assigned schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- work overtime when required
- pass a criminal background check
- full time availability
- ability to prepare entrées for all airlines
- plan cycle menus and changes
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a cook in a high volume institutional catering environment
- understanding of HACCP compliance
- extensive knowledge of safe food handling practices
- ability to understand and complete recipes
- ability to speak, read and understand English
- skills in proper use of cutlery, kitchen equipment and machinery
- understanding of various cooking techniques
Job Duties
- Large batch cooking
- follow HACCP regulations for food preparation
- prepare entrées according to customer specifications
- plan cycle menus and changes
- review production sheets to confirm specifications
- prepare complex recipes per specifications
- maintain above average skill level with cutlery, small wares and equipment
