Job Requirements
- ability to keep calm under busy working condition
- must be able to correctly and safely use standard kitchen equipment: chefs' knives, panini machines, blenders, and juicers
- have knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and completing all production sheets
- possess ServSafe certification or City/State Food Handler Card within two weeks of hire
- must have a passion for customer service
- always have a positive attitude
- be dependable and reliable
- knowing your equipment is clean and in good working order
- must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- able to stand and work on feet for the duration of shifts excluding breaks
- efficiently work under pressure during large events and peak periods adhering to all local and company procedures without compromising quality or safety
Job Qualifications
- possess ServSafe certification or City/State Food Handler Card
- two years of experience in a smoothie or juice bar preferred
- knowledge of seasonal fruits and vegetables to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
- ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with coworkers and vendors
- commitment to safety at all times

- positive, dependable, and adaptable attitude
Job Duties
- produce visually appealing, high-quality food and beverages according to Guckenheimer standards
- prepare smoothies and açaí bowls according to recipes or made-to-order specifications
- taste and evaluate products when developing new drinks or sandwiches
- follow all sanitation and safety procedures in compliance with Health Department regulations
- weigh, measure, and mix ingredients using proper kitchen utensils and equipment
- monitor and regulate grill temperatures
- follow company safety protocols and actively work to prevent accidents
- uphold the service values and ethics of the client company
- comply with ServSafe/Food Handler and HACCP requirements
- wash and sanitize all serving utensils and blenders
- ensure equipment is clean, sanitized, and in proper working order
- safely operate standard kitchen equipment, including chef's knives, panini presses, blenders, and juicers
- deliver hot and cold food to on-campus sites during special events using carts
- complete all production sheets accurately
- perform other duties as assigned
