Job Requirements
- Availability for night and weekend shifts
- must be able to carry out detailed but uncomplicated instructions
- ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- ability to perform medium physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds
- ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- ability to maintain clarity of vision and color perception
- adherence to company policies
- successful completion of pre-employment drug screen
- reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- good communication skills
- ability to write identifying information
- teamwork and customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Provides prompt and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers
- makes an effort to learn and use customers' names
- assists customers by escorting, securing products, loading or unloading items, passing along suggestions
- answers the telephone and takes orders
- takes customer orders at the counter
- works with co-workers as a team
- handles food safely and keeps work area clean
- reviews food freshness and prepares supplies
- anticipates daily product needs
- checks in and puts away product
- runs registers and processes payments
- removes trash timely
- adheres to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- reports to work on time
- washes dishes
- orders product and supplies
- prices products
- assists in other store areas
- performs other job-related duties and projects
