Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, account management or related field
  • Proven ability to manage and grow a sales pipeline
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge and passion for technology solutions benefiting SMBs
  • Preferred experience in Food and Beverage industry
  • Must be located in Chicago or St. Louis or within a 50-mile radius of these cities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in sales, account management or related field
  • Experience discovering and closing sales opportunities
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Successful track record managing a pipeline to achieve revenue targets
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Passion and knowledge about how new technologies can benefit small and medium size businesses
  • Preferred experience within the Food and Beverage industry
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills

Job Duties

  • Grow and retain a multi-million dollar customer base of 200-300 strategic Food and Beverage sellers
  • Understand Food and Beverage customer needs to help achieve their business goals through Square
  • Cross-sell and upsell products based on discovering customer needs
  • Effectively and strategically address customer concerns and issues
  • Help grow the managed accounts program through multiple seller touch points
  • Collaborate with Sales, Support and Product teams to ensure customers have the best possible experience across all aspects of Square
  • Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for clients within the company
